Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 October 2026

Important: These terms describe the proposed service relationship for China On-the-Ground. They are an operational template, not legal advice. Before accepting paid requests at scale, have them reviewed for your business entity, place of registration, tax position and target markets.

1. Our service

China On-the-Ground provides practical, lawful local coordination in China for individuals and businesses. Depending on the agreed scope, this may include sourcing support, product checks, local visits, shipping coordination, travel or business coordination, and medical pre-visit administrative coordination.

We act only within the written scope agreed for a specific request. We are not a seller, manufacturer, freight carrier, customs broker, law firm, financial institution, medical provider, government agency or licensed professional unless expressly stated in writing.

2. Requests, quotes and acceptance

A submitted enquiry is not an accepted order. We may ask for further information, decline a request, or propose a revised scope. A task begins only after we confirm the scope, fee, expected deliverables, timing and any prepayment requirement in writing.

Quotes are based on the information available at the time. If the location, duration, complexity, risk, third-party cost or requested deliverable changes, we may provide a revised quote before continuing.

3. Client responsibilities

You confirm that your request, instructions, goods, documents and intended use are lawful, accurate and do not infringe another person’s rights. You must provide the information and authorisations reasonably required to assess and perform the task.

You remain responsible for commercial decisions, supplier selection, payments to third parties, import/export compliance, insurance, tax, customs, visa, legal and regulatory obligations. Do not ask us to misrepresent information, bypass rules, handle restricted goods or make a decision reserved for a licensed professional.

4. Checks, visits and third parties

Photos, video, notes and reports reflect observations made at the time, place and scope agreed. They are not a warranty of product quality, authenticity, safety, future availability, legal compliance or supplier performance. A local visit does not replace independent professional inspection, laboratory testing, legal due diligence, customs clearance or insurance.

We may communicate with or coordinate third parties when agreed, but we do not control them and are not responsible for their acts, omissions, delays, availability or representations.

5. Medical boundary

Medical-related assistance is limited to pre-visit administrative coordination. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, interpretation of medical results, patient advocacy in a clinical decision, emergency services or guaranteed appointments. Seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions. In an emergency, contact local emergency services or a qualified provider immediately.

6. Fees, cancellation and refunds

Fees, payment timing, third-party expenses, cancellation terms and any refundable amount will be stated in the task confirmation. Third-party charges are separate unless specifically included. Work already performed, non-refundable bookings and third-party costs may not be refundable. We will explain any material change before incurring it where reasonably practical.

7. Liability and availability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or business losses, including lost profits, lost opportunity, supplier failures, shipping delays or customs outcomes. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our services may be paused or declined where safety, legality, feasibility or information security requires it.

8. Changes and governing rules

We may update these terms for future requests by posting a revised version. The task confirmation may contain additional terms for a specific engagement. Any mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply to you remain unaffected. The applicable law and dispute process, where needed, should be set out in the written task confirmation after the operating entity and transaction context are confirmed.
